If you are faced with the dreaded LICENSE EXPIRED -- Don't sweat it. Let's install the license codes:

When you press ENTER you will see the details of you system

Pressing F8 will show your system Levels and Partition Information:

So - you can now see everything to identify what you have on your system. Interesting stuff huh?
Now you wait to get your email from Softlanding which will contain a ZIP file attachment. This file will contain the actual license file that needs to be installed. Installation is simple - it's essentially these steps:
Step 1 - Get the license code
Contact SOFTLANDING (UNICOM) Support to get your license codes. You can call the number listed on your local screen or email codes@softlanding.com
To receive a product license, the following information is required:
1. Partition serial number, as shown
2. Operating system
3. Server model
4. Processor feature
5. Processor group
Once you receive your license file email let's get it on...
Step 2 - Upload to IFS
Extract the license file ZIP to your desktop and prepare to upload it to your IBM-i System

Within each ‘License.zip’ file, there is an additional file called ‘License’. First, please extract this file from the zip file to a location on your PC.
In the extracted file you will see a simple file called "LICENSE".
Please place this file on the IBM I Integrated File System (IFS), in the specific folder below. YOU WILL NEED TO RENAME THE EXISTING LICENSE FILE FIRST.
You now need to upload that to your system. I like to use IBM i ACS to do this (but you could use trusty old FTP if you prefer:
IFS: /home/unicom/licenses/*
*you will need to select from the following:
TN4 – TURNOVER for Dev, Rem and SVN
CM4 – CENTRAL Menu
TC4 – TO for CA 2e
TD4 – TO Data manager
TP4 – TO for Progen Plus
TL4 – TO for Lansa
TH4 – TO Helpdesk
TS4 – TO SVN
So - using the tool of you choice - navigate to the TN4 folder and prepare to upload the LICENSE file.
NOTE: in this example I am updating an expired LICENSE file. So I rename the old file from LICENSE to LICENSE.OLD and upload the new one:

We are going to upload the new file to the correct folder at:
IFS: /home/unicom/licenses/TN4
After you have done it should look like this:

And that's it!
You can go back into TURNOVER - whether its green screen, client or (in my case) white screen:
