IBM i OS, programming, RDi

  • Want to learn IBM RDi?
  • Wondering where to go to find all those old RDi articles that used to be on IBM’s Developerworks website?
  • Googling, Binging and Duck Duck Going, frantically searching for help with RDi?

Back in October 2019, IBM announced they were killing the Developerworks website:

“As part of the overall IBM effort to reduce the number of duplicate client interaction portals and simplify the user experience with the digital side of IBM, we are sunsetting the developerWorks Connections platform which includes all URLs starting with https://ibm.com/developerworks/community,”

IBM Propeller Heads

Since sunsetting isn’t a real word, this could be typed as:

“Our budgets been reduced so we are deleting the Developerworks Connections website”

The more honest and less verbose IBM Propeller Head

But don’t worry, the wonderful old library of IBM RDi knowledge wasn’t killed. Properly. Well, it was killed but it’s quickly been resurrected with a new name, a sexier front end and a great inbuilt search over at the brand new IBM Rational Developer for i Hub

The new IBM Rational Developer for i Hub is here 🙂
