The effective withdrawal date for i5/OS® V5R4, additional selected programs, and features, has been extended from January 5, 2010, to January 7, 2011.

The effective withdrawal date for i5/OS® V5R4, additional selected programs, and features, as announced in Software withdrawal 909-003, dated January 27, 2009, is extended from January 5, 2010, to January 7, 2011. For ordering, contact your IBM representative, an IBM Business Partner, or IBM Americas Call Centers at 800-IBM-CALL (Reference: AE001).

You probably think that is a completely useless nugget of information… but for my main client, running a twenty year old heavily bespoke ERP application on the i, missing the main product source code and unable to recompile and hence upgrade to version 6: It’s fairly important.

Hardly something to blog about… but then again… :bignosewink:
