THIS IS FOR LMS 7.3.4 Hot Fix
PLEASE SEE NOTES AT THE END OF THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR CALL PROGRAMS
Please find the link below for the latest hot fix 7.3.4 library and the associated hot fix log. Restore the savf to QGPL and follow the below instructions to install. Please note that there are display files included in these fixes so the property will have to be out of the settlement and reservation programs to move them into place. It might be safer to have them out of LMS all together when you go to production.
1. Place the hot fix savf on your IBM i System in QGPL
2. Restore HOTFIX_734 from the savf
3. Build a HOTFIXxxxx (xxxx=MMDD – today’s date) archive library
4. Move all objects from LMHOTFIX to HOTFIXxxxx (I use STRPDM and 11 to move the objects – type 11 in the first object option and then F13 to duplicate the 11 on all objects in the list)
5. Move all objects from HOTFIX_734 to LMHOTFIX using the same process
6. Delete HOTFIX_734 savf and library from the iSeries
7. The archived HOTFIXxxxx should be deleted after testing of the new version is complete.
