Playing with a RPG Subfile

ibm i rpg programmer

Poking around on the filthiest corners of the IBM i Programmers internet this morning, I stumbled across someone else’s sample subfile template for an RPG program. This is quite an old-style RPG program (it looks like it’s from around 2012) but should still work well today.

It looks quite nice, coded differently to my personal style so let’s (a) have a play with it, (b) see how it performs, then (c) modernize it to RPG /free and make some small tweaks to see if it can be improved:

#IBMi #AS400 #iSERIES #RPG #RPGLE #SUBFILE
