IBM i Access for Web

5250 Design is quite granular

We can change the 'view' of the sign on session from the Active Session Settings page:

Web View

The web view in IBM i Access for Web functions similarly to other web pages and consists of 5250 screens. It employs links for navigation, cursor positioning, and retrieving message text assistance. The background color of the web page serves as the screen's background color.

It's worth noting that the default template provided with IBM i Access for Web sets the background color of the page to white.

Allows cursor positioning at non-input fields
Display “More…”as button
Message line (25th line) treated as help

Traditional View

The traditional view in IBM i Access for Web maintains the classic 5250 appearance by utilizing the conventional 5250 color scheme. This view also functions more like a traditional 5250 user interface compared to a standard web page.
